We were there for the Bisbee 1,000 stair climb and found the San Jose Lodge to be reasonable, clean, quiet and not so far out as to be bothersome. Though they were busy the staff was friendly and helpful.
I didn't like the hardness of the mattress on the bed, but that's just a personal thing.
